TEXT

AGI annual meeting is taking place in Istanbul this year, inviting the leading graphic artists of the world to the city. Referencing the meaning of 'Istanbul' in Byzantian Greek which is 'to the city' (eis tin polin), the curator of the show Bülent Erkmen, Turkish leading graphic artist and a member of this association as well, asked these artists to prepare themselves for coming to the city, to imagine it, to make a face for it.

The only condition is that these images should be 'unplugged'. The exhibition is comprised of the works of 85 world leading graphic artists, among them are David Tartakover, Henry Steiner, Lanny Sommes, Pierre Bernard, Alain Le Quernec and Uwe Loesch
