Millî Reasürans Art Gallery, which is the second oldest institutional gallery in Türkiye with a history spanning 30 years, holds a significant place in both the visual arts and publishing history of our country, having hosted a total of 188 national and international exhibitions and produced over 170 exhibition catalogues. Due to the restoration of the building it occupies, the Millî Reasürans Art Gallery will temporarily suspend its activities.

The restoration of the Millî Reasürans Building Complex, which was designed in 1992 by the award-winning architectural project of Sevinç & Şandor Hadi, will be carried out by TeCe Architecture and Consulting Ltd., a firm where Sevinç Hadi is an honorary partner. As part of the project, a theater hall and social spaces will be added to the structure, transforming the building into a new cultural center.

During the restoration process, the Millî Reasürans Art Gallery will take a break from its exhibition activities but will continue its efforts to digitize its thirty-year-old archive. The gallery is preparing an archival exhibition focusing on its history, featuring the information, documents, visuals, and materials that make up its memory, which will be shared with audiences in the renovated space in the fall of 2025.
