Moving Announcement

With a memory stretching back 30 years, the second oldest institutional gallery in Turkey, the Milli Reasürans Art Gallery, which has a significant place in our publishing history as well as in visual arts with a total of 188 national and international exhibitions and over 170 exhibition books prepared specifically for these exhibitions, is temporarily suspending its activities due to the renovation project that will begin in the Milli Reasürans Building Complex, the building it is located in.

The renovation of the Milli Reasürans Building Complex, which was implemented in 1992 as an award-winning architectural project of Sevinç & Şandor Hadi, is being undertaken by TeCe Architecture and Consulting Ltd. Şti., of which Sevinç Hadi is an honorary partner, and the building will take on the identity of a new cultural center with the theater hall and social spaces to be included in the structure within the scope of the project.

The Milli Reasürans Art Gallery, which will pause its exhibition activities during the renovation process, will continue its efforts to digitize its thirty-year memory during this process, and will continue its preparations for the exhibition in order to share the archive exhibition focusing on the history of the gallery with the information, documents, visuals and documents that constitute the memory in question, with the audience in its renewed space in the next exhibition season.

As the Milli Reasürans Art Gallery, we will be waiting with great longing and excitement to meet you with our new exhibition projects in our old house, whose restoration has been completed.
