In the text written by Levent Çalıkoğlu for the exhibition, he describes Eczacıbaşı's work as follows: “It is indeed intriguing to see someone who has dedicated their life to art presenting their accumulation in their first solo exhibition using glass and plastic objects! There are two things to consider here: The first is related to a sense of lateness in art history from the avant-garde to the present. There is a 20th-century tradition where the meaning and context of objects are turned upside down, and their use is critiqued in conjunction with the issues related to the class of users and their identity.”
The exhibition is open for viewing from November 28 to December 30, 2006.
