Within the scope of Grafist 17: 17 International Istanbul Graphic Design Days organised by Department of Graphic Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Milli Reasürans Art Gallery is hosting the Danish Graphic Designer Finn Nygaard's exhibition between May 7- 31, 2013.

Finn Nygaard designs posters, corporate identities, and many more items for national and international companies and is an award winning designer. He has designed more than four hundred posters and most of his designs have been exhibited extensively in galleries and museums. Some of his designs are in the hands of renowned collectors. He is also a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI).

Posters have a place apart in Nygaard’s work: he considers them as a way to support design and art in general and n his own work give him total freedom to express his views on political, cultural and humanitarian subjects. His basic criteria for a good poster is its easy readibility.
